Gráinne is a global health consultant with a focus on alleviating the burden of diseases and reducing health inequalities through the practical application of evidence-based advocacy and policy strategies.
Prior to Global Health Strategies, Gráinne worked on the Global Health Research and Development, Neglected Tropical Diseases and Immunization portfolios at Speak Up Africa, an advocacy think tank based in Dakar. There she designed and implemented programme strategy and framework, worked with SUAs global networks of partners, coordinated and managed donor engagement and resource mobilization efforts, and developed logical frameworks to support programme implementation.
Grainne has also built from the ground up sustainability and climate community start-ups and has served in a variety of leadership positions.
Gráinne is fluent in English and French. She holds an MPhil in Public Health and Epidemiology from the University of Cambridge, and a BSc in International Relations and Modern Languages from Georgia Institute of Technology.
