Anjali graduated from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service with a BS in Science, Technology, and International Affairs concentrating in Global Health with a certificate in Diplomatic Studies. While at Georgetown, Anjali found interests in global health security and diplomacy and the intersection of the environment and human health.
Anjali has interned with the health department of an Indian state government, working on public sector health governance and financing; researched maternal and child health at a UK-India research collaboration based at the University of Oxford; and at Georgetown worked on antimicrobial resistance research at the Center on Medical Product Access, Safety, and Stewardship; Covid-19 legislation research across the US and India, and research on international legal instruments with the Center on Global Health Science and Security. In addition to pursuing her passion for health governance, Anjali has been a Teaching Assistant and a Writing Consultant, a recipient of a Medical Humanities Fellowship, and has written an honors thesis on Martian organic biosignature preservation.
