Alexandra Toutounji graduated from Georgetown University with a B.A. in Government and double minors in Italian and Journalism. Focusing on international relations, Alex developed a strong interest in understanding how non-governmental organizations could affect change to various issues on the world stage. While at university, she also served a year-long term as the editor-in-chief of the Georgetown Independent, a monthly arts and culture magazine.
Alex has previously worked on assessing prosecutor training programs while interning at legal non-profit Lawyers Without Borders, reviewed vaccine research grants at the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI), conducted research relating to the effect of the Syrian conflict on the country’s Greek Orthodox community, and helped improve online presence at Robinson Speakers.
