Adrienne Toumayan is a communication and advocacy professional with experience in global development, human rights, and humanitarian affairs. She joined GHS after serving as a Senior Information Officer at USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance in Washington, D.C. While there, she managed internal and external reporting on international crises, including disease outbreaks and public health emergencies, and supported humanitarian advocacy efforts within the U.S. Government. She also lived and worked overseas, supporting USAID Disaster Assistance Response Teams (DARTs) in Iraq, Nigeria, and South Sudan, as well as multi-million-dollar emergency response programs through regional offices in Hungary, Jordan, and Kenya. Prior to USAID, Adrienne worked as an Events Manager for the Los Angeles Business Journal, where she produced high-profile events for the LA business community.
Adrienne holds an M.A. in International Peace and Conflict Resolution and a B.A. in International Studies from American University’s School of International Service. In her free time, she trains parkour and volunteers as a community organizer dedicated to the growth and empowerment of women in parkour.
