Yashasvi Murali is a Program Associate with the Family Planning and the Tata Trusts project. Prior to joining GHS, she was working at the Foundation for Reproductive Health Services India where she was involved in advocating for improving quality of family planning services in public health facilities in Rajasthan. She was also actively involved in the Pratigya campaign in advocating for access to safe abortion services to women.
Yashasvi completed her Master’s in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She wrote her post-graduate dissertation on the issue of Female Genital Mutilation in Africa in which she researched its press coverage in British media and intervention by the United Nations. She also interned in UNHCR’s self-reliance and livelihood project for refugees in Delhi. Yashasvi completed her graduation in commerce from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University.
