Ria Golecha has joined GHS as a Program Assistant with the ICMR team. It was amidst the busy and bustling backdrop of a slum in West Delhi in 2014, that Ria realized her true calling to work in the development sector while working for her entrepreneurial venture.
Previously, she has worked with Public Health Foundation of India as part of their core advisory group of the ‘It’s Ok To Talk mental health campaign’. At PHFI, she was actively involved in giving advice on the design and layout of the multi-media platform and acted as beta tester for the upcoming PHFI mobile application. She was selected to represent India for a conference organized by International Association for Adolescent Health in Paris. She has interned at KPMG India, Unilever and Centre for Policy Analysis. Ria also spent a semester abroad studying Risk Management at University of Twente, Netherlands on full scholarship.
Ria completed her Bachelor’s in Economics from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi and a B.A in Kathak from Lucknow University. She is also one among 120 students selected from India for the Young Leaders Program by Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
