Olivia Ades-Lawlor is a recent graduate of the University of Vermont. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies with a concentration on human health and the environment. She discovered her passion for international health work through internships with other NGOs (Population Media Center & Child Advocacy and Women’s Rights International) and while studying Public Health in Khon Kaen, Thailand. There she conducted needs assessments and interviews on health education, health promotion and family planning in rural and urban areas. Her experience culminated in her own research project on teen pregnancy and contraception use, where she taught a Sexual Education class to 40 Thai high school aged students.
Olivia is committed to ensuring health is a human right and wants to put her passion, energy and interest in international work to use in the global health field!
