Naresh Ramaswamy joined the GHS India office in August 2017. Naresh has worked, for the past 15 years, globally with leading social sector organizations focused on health, livelihoods, education, child rights and conservation. He has helped organizations leverage operational design and efficiencies to deliver more towards their mission. He has a strong background in organizational and program management, monitoring, evaluation and delivery. He is a change management specialist, adept at managing risks, building partnerships and achieving results as scale. Most recently, he was Chief Operating Officer for World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) – Grater Mekong and Country Director of WWF Thailand and WWF Myanmar, leading these offices through major change processes. He also worked with Save the Children US, first as the Associate Vice President for Global audit and Risk based in New York and later as Deputy Africa Regional Director and Country Director in South Sudan, Mozambique, and Ethiopia.
Prior to joining the social sector, Naresh spent over a decade in private sector consulting and audit in leadership roles providing business advisory services to a wide variety of clients with firms such as Ernst & Young and Deloitte in Asia, Middle East, Papua New Guinea and Australia.
Naresh holds a Master of Business in E-Business from University of Technology Sydney. He is a Chartered Accountant and a professionally certified internal auditor and certified information systems auditor.
