Mahtab Irani is a Program Associate with the Sustaining Access to Vaccines in India (SAVI) team at GHS. Prior to joining GHS, Mahtab worked as Senior Project Coordinator at the National Centre for Promotion of Employment for Disabled People (NCPEDP) on thePromoting Easy Access for Persons with Disabilities project. She was involved in liaising with the Bureau of Indian Standards to include Accessibility standards to the ongoing revision of the National Building Code. She also helped create media attention as part of the organization’s Equality+20 campaign. Mahtab has also worked with the UNESCO Parzor Foundation as Researcher and Coordinator for their exhibition Threads of Continuity: Zoroastrian Life and Culture, that has been showcased at New Delhi and Kolkatta.
She has a Master’s degree in Political Science from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Public Health. As a summer intern, she was part of thePossible Serious Bacterial Infections in Neonates project at Inclen Trust International as a Qualitative Researcher.
