Laurin Liu joined GHS in 2018, after completing her Master’s degree in Human Rights at the London School of Economics. She has international experience spanning four continents in project management, executive education and international development.
From 2011 to 2015, Laurin served as a Canadian Member of Parliament for the riding of Rivière-des-Mille-Îles. As the youngest female MP in Canadian history, Laurin has experience securing opportunities for high-level external engagement and representation, while initiating and executing campaigns on consumer rights, poverty, employment and health. Laurin tabled three bills, as well as the first Parliamentary motion to establish a National Strategy on Eating Disorders, Motion M-610, which was re-tabled in the 42nd Parliament. She also held multiple deputy critic roles in the Official Opposition, including Environment, Science and Technology, and International Trade.Connect on LinkedIn
