Jessica Freifeld is a seasoned global health communications and advocacy professional with more than eight years of experience. Since joining GHS in 2009, she has overseen a number of high-profile accounts, events and campaigns focused on a range of global health issues, including family planning, maternal and child health, immunization and universal health coverage, among others. Notably, Jessica relocated to Kenya for over a year to open GHS’s office in Nairobi – and she also built and manages GHS’s relationships with more than 500 journalists across the African continent.
Prior to joining GHS, Jessica worked in PATH’s Advocacy and Public Policy department in Washington, D.C., where she helped to launch the Global Health Technologies Coalition, as well as at Duke University’s Program on Global Health and Technology Access. Jessica graduated Summa cum Laude from Duke University with a B.A. in political science, a minor in African/African American studies and a certificate in global health.Connect on LinkedIn
