Irena Ehrlich graduated from the University of Chicago in 2018 with a B.A. in History and a minor in Human Rights. Irena’s dedication to social justice led her to activism on public education, sexual assault, and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. In 2016-2017, she served as the National Communications Chair for J Street U. Irena has focused on supporting refugees and immigrants. With a grant from the Pozen Center for Human Rights, Irena interned at HIAS, a refugee resettlement agency, where she worked on the community engagement team. Irena also worked as a policy intern at the National Immigrant Justice Center.
