Emily is a results-oriented global health professional, with a particular passion for girls’ and women’s health and rights. Emily previously worked for Women Deliver, a global advocacy NGO working to increase investments in the health, rights and wellbeing of girls and women. She was a lead organizer of the Women Deliver’s 5,700-person international conference in 2016. She worked with more than 90 global partners, meeting with leadership from diverse organizations to create the program. Emily managed the research, writing and production of the event’s largest deliverable, an outcome document that provides a comprehensive overview of 100 concrete solutions that were shared at the conference.
Emily received her Bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University. As an undergraduate, Emily worked in Nicaragua, where she co-led the design of a program that trained women to educate their community on women’s health topics. She also served on the Leadership Council of the health education organization Peer Health Exchange and was the Event Lead for the global health student organization GlobeMed.Connect on LinkedIn
