Annie graduated from Harvard University with a B.A. in Psychology and a secondary degree in Global Health and Health Policy in May 2014. Prior to joining Global Health Strategies, she worked at OPEN Pediatrics, a global health organization that focuses on increasing access to medical resources for pediatric caregivers, and was involved in the creation and distribution of peer-reviewed medical content videos.
She also worked at Harvard Model Congress conferences, both domestically and internationally, where she authored briefings for, and led debates amongst high school students about mental health, malaria, and other health issues in developing nations. Annie conducted in-depth independent research on mental health resources and outcomes in Fiji, analyzing local health systems and their implementation of international guidelines. While in college, she volunteered as a peer counselor for which received more than eighty hours of professional mental health training.
