Andrew joined GHS in 2017 after graduating Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa Honors from Duke University with a BS in Environmental Science and BA in Global Health. Andrew was also part of a research team evaluating the success of a recently implemented domestic violence law in Puerto Cabezas, Nicaragua. In 2015, Andrew conducted research to evaluate the implementation and uptake of a clean water intervention in Muhuru Bay, Kenya. Andrew also spent a summer working for ESRI, a GIS software company located in Redlands, California, to develop a new skill and apply this newfound geospatial skill to his interests in global health, especially clean water access. He spent a semester abroad in South Africa conducting field-based environmental research for the Organization for Tropical Studies and SANParks. In his free time, Andrew enjoys playing soccer, rock climbing and traveling.
