Amelia Earnest is a global health advocate passionate about impacting challenges through language and strategy. She earned her B.A. in Global Affairs from Yale University, where she studied development, served as a Global Health Fellow, and wrote for campus publications. She began her career investigating and building whistleblower cases at a boutique plaintiff’s law firm. In that role, she spearheaded investigations into price-fixing in the generic drug market and fraud in the pharmaceutical benefit manager industry.
Amelia has solidified her commitment to global health through international field work. In Peru she worked on a team assessing economic interventions’ effect on TB rates in informal communities. As a community journalist in South Africa she reported on sanitation issues in the townships, covering toilet protests from the streets and from city hall.
