Dan Pawson is a Vice President with Global Health Strategies. Before coming to GHS, Dan spent four years as the Legislative Director for Massachusetts State Senator Bruce E. Tarr. As Legislative Director, he wrote complex legislation, advised the Senator on pending bills, arranged press conferences, and wrote most of the Senator’s legislative correspondence. He shepherded several bills into law, including bills on pediatric organ donation and municipal pension governance.
Dan has a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School, where he focused on international and constitutional law. He also holds a B.A. from Claremont McKenna College with a dual degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE) and Government. Dan is the fifth-highest money winner in the history of Jeopardy!, and won the 2009 Tournament of Champions. He lives in Bay Ridge with his wife and two children.
