Christy Feig brings more than 20 years of experience using her communications skills to help people around the world live longer, healthier lives. Prior to joining GHS as Senior Vice President, Christy served as Director of Communications for the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva, where she managed the department of communications in the Director-General’s office and worked closely with offices in the six WHO regions and more than 150 countries. In this role, Christy was responsible for the communications strategies, products and messaging for all of the WHO’s areas of work including HIV, TB, malaria, maternal and child health, non-communicable diseases, health systems and public health emergencies, including disease outbreaks. Prior to the WHO, Christy served as Director of International Communications for the American Red Cross. Before joining the American Red Cross, Christy spent nearly 15 years as a journalist at CNN covering health and medical issues, including as a producer, senior producer and reporter.
